Love this tutorial. You make it seem so simple! ( I know from experience, its not lol) I would love to see how you set up your lighting. Also, did you have to ask for the syringes behind the counter? I dont want to seem like a crackhead when I walk in there. :lmao:

hi! sorry for taking so long ^^;
i use natural light from my bedroom window and yes, i have to ask for them, but don't worry if they give you a funny look just tell the truth. they won't second guess that i think.

GAH. I wish I could have seen this before I did my macro for my photography class. OTL Beautiful, though, I must say. If we ever do a freelance assignment, I will HAVE to try this technique out! Oh, and because I am way too young to get my hands on a syringe, do you have any knowledge as to how else you could make the droplet without using one?

You could try one of those super tiny coffee straws that you find in gas stations...? I don't really know about this stuff, but that was the first thing that came to mind for me. You could also try simply using a small paintbrush, but it's less likely to create the 'balled-up' effect, and be more ovally.

That might work. :3 I shall have to get a hand on one of those coffee straws the next time I go to a Jacks. They have about a million of them; they'd live if I stole one. xD

I have no paintbrushes, unfortunately, so I shall have to put my hope into the coffee straw. Thanks for the suggestion! <3
